New Year’s news from the Dev Team!
Hello Everyone!
With the Holiday season just around the corner we have a whole lot of new Furry Legends screens for you, please find them below in this post.
In addition, we would also like to make an announcement - Furry Legends will be sent for Nintendo certification in first quarter of 2010, anticipated for release a couple weeks later.
We are very eager to release our first game on the WiiWare service, and we would like to see it on the market just as soon as our loyal fans do. Since this is our first and debut title on WiiWare, we would like to have it polished and ready, instead of rushing it to the market. Because of that, we have decided to postpone the release in order to squeeze in a couple more of playtesting sessions and a thorough bug hunt. We are commited to quality and playability of the game, and we do not want to compromise on any of these aspects. I hope that the WiiWare public will understand and appreciate our approach to our first game.
We hope that the new batch of screenshots will ease the wait for our first title ;-)
I would also like to wish a very merry Christmas, Hanuka and Holiday season to all our fans on behalf of the whole Furry Legends dev team!

How about a new trailer since we won’t be getting the game this year?
Merry Christmas GameLion and best wishes through the New Year.

Say, with your excellent little title coming along nicely, I was wondering if there is a contact email for a member of the press, to perhaps….say, nab an interview with one of you fine devs. How would one go about doing this? ;)

Hello Malouff!
As much as we’d love to have a new trailer out before holidays, I’m afraid this is not possible. Actually, creating a good trailer takes at least a week to make it look and sound right. We will certainly release a trailer before the launch, but at this time we just don’t have the resources to spend two weeks creating a new trailer.
We’ll do our best to throw out new things to the public whenever we can, so please keep an eye out for new stuff ;-)
Happy Holidays and thanks for the continued support!

Łukasz Szczepański thank you for that information.
I had no idea so much time was involved in making a trailer.
I thought people just did a video capture and merged the segments with transitions and then optionally added text and voice overs to the captured video if they needed them.
I do agree however that the time would be better spend on development.
Looking forward to seeing more of both Furry Legends for WiiWare and Furry Legends:Beginnings for DSiWare.
As always thank you for keeping us (the public) informed.
