New Year’s news from the Dev Team!

December 18th, 2009

Hello Everyone!

With the Holiday season just around the corner we have a whole lot of new Furry Legends screens for you, please find them below in this post.

In addition, we would also like to make an announcement - Furry Legends will be sent for Nintendo certification in first quarter of 2010, anticipated for release a couple weeks later.

We are very eager to release our first game on the WiiWare service, and we would like to see it on the market just as soon as our loyal fans do. Since this is our first and debut title on WiiWare, we would like to have it polished and ready, instead of rushing it to the market. Because of that, we have decided to postpone the release in order to squeeze in a couple more of playtesting sessions and a thorough bug hunt. We are commited to quality and playability of the game, and we do not want to compromise on any of these aspects. I hope that the WiiWare public will understand and appreciate our approach to our first game.

We hope that the new batch of screenshots will ease the wait for our first title ;-)

I would also like to wish a very merry Christmas, Hanuka and Holiday season to all our fans on behalf of the whole Furry Legends dev team!

August 24th, 2009
Fur them, love'em, hate'em!

Fur them, love'em, hate'em!

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to announce that we will be taking our beloved furballs to DSiWare. Furry Legends is no longer exclusive to WiiWare, the sneaky Furballs are expanding to DSiWare, and who knows if they will settle with just that!

In Furry Legends: Beginnings, which is a prequel to Furry Legends, players will be able to experience the world prior to squarie invasion. The game will feature beautiful, 100% hand drawn graphics, physics, puzzle, action and more!

You can expect new enemies, at least three different environments, new puzzles and a fresh dose of cheesy humor in this upcoming release. Remember to watch this space and sign up with our twitter feed to stay up to date with latest developments!

And here’s a fresh shot, so you can all feast your eyes upon it!

Oh my!

July 27th, 2009

Yes, you’ve read this right! You can get your name into a visible place in Furry Legends!

How? It’s pretty simple!

Oh, and we’ll pay attention that these people are not associated with our company in any way ;-)

So! Follow our Twitter, and get ready for the name drawing!

Nyx will be featured in Furry Legends!

July 24th, 2009

nyxquest Hear ye, hear ye!

Nyx, from the excellent NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits will be featured as a guest character in Furry Legends, courtesy of Over The Top Games.

We are currently looking for a good place for her, but you can be sure that you won’t have to look for her hard in the game.

We believe that cooperation of indie developers is a great thing, and we’re happy to collaborate with Over The Top Games in such manner. This will create more visibility for both games, and WiiWare fans will certainly find this a nice touch.

We have a bit more up our sleeve, so watch this space!

Have you checked out NyxQuest?

July 13th, 2009

Recently I’ve downloaded NyxQuest onto our team’s Wii.

All I can say is that the game is awesome. It looks very nice, and playing with the physics is a blast. There are many unique gameplay mechanics, and the game brings a lot of fresh (and hot) air into the WiiWare scene.

The levels are pretty long, and there’s a lot of secrets hidden about. It’s great value for the money spent, and has a pretty nice replay value too. The controls take some time to get used to, but after that you’re soaring and shooting fireballs like Spyro the Dragon.

There are even bossfights, and these are pretty tense. I’m no hardcore player, but the hydra takes some time to deal with.

All in all, it’s a great title, and a must have in every WiiWare enthustiast’s library!
